Yeah, his game of being the rebel or the outsider or whatever he thinks he is is old, he needs to get beyond that and realize you can walk away gracefully.

For all the people who love to compare Punk's rebel streak to that of Stone Cold's, they forget that SCSA knew it was a business and knew what lines not to cross. Punk never knew what the difference was and even if he did, he'd still cross it.
Then there's Punk's penchant for being....disagreeable to work with.

For what it's worth, it's been said he's been very chill and helpful since signing with AEW, and overall much easier to work with than he used to be...or not, given his behavior after All Out 2022, which resulted in a backstage fight and Brooks' subsequent suspension.

Oh 100%. Stone Cold respected the business, Punk just trashed it.
I'll see if I can find it, but Stone Cold was once asked whether he legit hated Vince McMahon like his in-ring persona did and Stone Cold flat said it was just business btwn them in-ring.
The reason: before SCSA came to then-WWF, he'd been cut by WCW because, in the eyes of Eric Bischoff, SCSA's hook at the time wouldn't catch on so Austin and a bunch of crusierweights (Malenko, Saturn, Jericho, Mysterio, Guerrero and Benoit) got cut there. All of them migrated over to WWF and even taking what Benoit is now known for today, all of them became successful in WWF/WWE.
Punk's never gotten that message.
Yep, so many wasted WCW stars that went to WWF and flourish. So many great wrestlers that took their chance and ran with it.
