......while I highly doubt that the NCAA is going to pull the Final Four out of Indianapolis, it would please me to no end if the NCAA - among others - were to leave the Hoosier State the Bigoted State and not return until such time as the law is stricken off the books. Religious freedom my ass; this Indiana law is but a smoke-screen for society's bigots to use as a cudgel against members of the LGBT community and it should not stand, period.

Despite you misinterpreting and misunderstanding my position in an earlier post on a separate thread re: this subject,

I agree. I hope the playoffs ARE moved. If they're not, I hope the local merchants supporting/benefiting from the venue suffer terribly. I hope there's enough people in the US willing to NOT put their money where their mouths are and will stay away for a few games, just to show the Governor how bassackwards his plan is. I hope people refuse to watch those games on T.V., too.

I'm a firm believer in using capital to prove one's point in a capitalist society; it seems to be the best way to get *their* attention. When you bring them to their knees, their hearts and minds will follow.

It can be done, Doc; if the NCAA, the ACC and the SEC could move events out of South Carolina over the display of the Confederate battle flag a certain treasonous rag, then they can do it here.

*scratches head in thought* FYI, Doc: the federal RFRA law doesn't apply to the States' at present, the second part of your comment doesn't hold water. As for the first part...well, I guess we just won't hold events there either, Doc, huh?
