Do you actually make phone calls more than anything else with your phone? Everyone seems to use their phone for texting and apps/games these days.

Do you think you talked on the phone more before the smart phone era?

I'm going to be the exception here. I do not text or play games on my phone. As a matter of fact, my mobile phone is rarely even used. The only time I need to use it is when I have to make a long distance call. I do not have long distance on my landline phone because it costs too much. I have a TracFone and add minutes as needed.

I don't make phone calls frequently. I either text, surf the internet (when I'm outside) or play what I have installed on it. This is the purpose of smartphones these days.

And I did the same in 2008-2009, before the era where smartphones began to hit the market. I miss those J2ME days though :(

I don't talk on the phone that much at all. My phone IS mainly for texting and apps. I didn't talk on the phone very much before the smart phone era either, but it was probably more than now because there was no texting.

My phone isn't "smart" and all I can do on it is make calls or send a text once in awhile.

It won't run aps, doesn't play any games I want to play, can't show videos, and the camera on it sucks.

It does have mobile web, but Tracfone is a bit pricey to use for that.
