Hmm I'll have the change the wording in that. Thats what the software programmed in there by default. The line "Your account's access may be limited based on these actions. Please keep this in mind when posting or using our site." doesn't need to be in there since it doesn't apply here.

Yeah I think it would be wise to have tailored wording to state the sanction applied, if any, to the account or whether the warning is not followed by any sanction but is just a reminder of the rules... for the sake of clarity. Of course each case differs @Nebulous

For XF forums, go into ACP, then 'phrases' and search for:

Oh right, I've never needed to use formal warnings. I just use verbal warnings - sometimes friendly wording, sometimes sterner wording.

I think we all have the same mindset at the site I co-admin haha - in fact, the site owner thinks I can be too blunt. Blunt = to the point without getting personal. Idk though, when someone repeatedly makes the same mistake especially after laughing at a warning, it's no longer a mistake, it's a decision.
