When moving out of your parent's place for the first time, did you move to a place with a roommate? Or did you prefer to have your own place without any one to bother you?

Anytime I moved out, it was with a boyfriend. & it was just the two of us. I could never have other roommates. Certainly not placing an ad & acquiring tenants to help pay. I recently watched Golden Girls so this is in my mind lol

The only roommate I prefer to have is a girlfriend. I'll not share with anyone else.

I've never had a roommate after I moved out.

Unless you count a waifu pillow....

I never moved out, well, guess my dad became my roommate if anything. Life is strange like that.

My brother and I share a house together. I live upstairs and he lives in the downstairs apartment. He's always traveling due to his job so he's rarely even home.

I once knew someone who talked about having a downstairs apartment often. Pretty unique feature on a house. At least where I’m from.

I live in a private lake community and a lot of the homes here have a separate downstairs living area to accommodate their Summer visitors/guests.

When I worked in another city, I rented a room with a roommate. He was my friend.
