That's the first I've heard of it. Why is it illegal there in Australia?

Voluntary euthanasia. It's legal in only two states in the US. If somebody is suffering so direly that they would truly rather be dead, why not give them that option? We can euthanize animals when they are suffering so much, why can't we do the same for humans?

Don't want people to pay for a television/movie service so makes it illegal. Therefore promotes movie piracy moreso.

I am also surprised to know that netflix is not legal in Australia? Is there any specific reason for this?
