I have to show a photo ID to buy cold medication.
To cash an out of town check it's easier to just take EVERYTHING (passport, fishing license, college diploma, third grade class picture) to the bank THAT I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT AT than to argue about why they need something.
Have you ever tried to sign up a new address for electric service?
Then why the HELL does anybody get their panties in a knot over showing something with your name next to your picture to vote?
