Thats right it took us Tea Party people to do it.

Scott’s victory marks the first time South Carolina has sent a black senator to Washington D.C. since Reconstruction.

Mia Love making her the first black Republican woman to be elected to the U.S. House.

Holy cow if the republicans do not screw it up and someone like Ben Carson runs I will be in conservative heaven.

Two thoughts here...first off, congrats to both of them. Yes, I don't like either of them and I don't care for their politics, but that side, congrats to them; it goes to show that anything is possible. Second - echoing what I said over in the Election 14 thread and playing devil's advocate here - if I were advising RNC officials, I'd tell 'em to get these two - among others of note (Gov. Jindal, Gov. Haley, Gov. Martinez, among them), in front of the cameras and show that it was Republicans who did this, that voters looked past race and all that and voted for the individual, not the party.

Just my two cents here...:ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:
