I have lived alone for 10 years since the death of my mother. I wasn't allowed to leave home and was still living there when I was 45. I was little more than an unpaid slave.

Did you live with her until you were 45 by choice or you had no other options?

I didn't have the best home life growing up.

Me neither, my childhood was rough! I survived it and became a better person for it!

When my mom had me move in with my grandparents. My grandfather became my life coach. He helped me get a job and to start being responsible and taking accountability. My grandfather taught me a lot. Aside from the hard moments, It's been a good run so far. Once I got my own place, I didn't want to ever live with my parents again. You get a lot of freedoms when you don't live under someone.

Glad that your grandparents were there for you and helped you gain independence.

Yes, I still live with my dad he’s been a great support of my business also my relationships and sadly I’ll be moving out this year.

By choice?
Yes, as I’m getting married me and my partner are moving in together and he’s been a great support with that also but helping with furniture and putting towards a deposit for us, he’s an amazing man.

Are you going to be renting?

Around £100,000-£150,000 for a decent 3 bedroom. But I’d rather move from the area, it’s pretty rough.
Wow houses are cheap in your area! Where I live you could probably buy a mobile home/trailer for that price. Not a real house though.

Its a lot of work! I don't live on a very large piece of land but I have a relatively large backyard compared to other houses in my city. I can never keep up with the yard work.
It would be a lot of work but I quite enjoy being out and doing YARD work
