The Elder Scrolls Online to ditch subscriptions

In the latest and biggest Elder Scrolls game ever made, you can choose to adventure alone, quest with friends, or join an army of hundreds in epic player vs. player battles as you explore and discover the secrets of a persistent Tamriel. Of course the "premium membership" thing sounds rather suspicious, but if it's not too bad I might actually play it

Well, I've noticed people are getting to where its a royal pain to pay a subscription/server fee. A lot of people are moving towards the idea that you should only pay for a game once and leave it at that. Online sub games make for a crappy birthday/Christmas/Holiday gift.

A lot of people pay it any way just to get their fix. Sure, they will gripe about it.

Not so sure. SWTOR went f2p while these guys seem to go b2p.

I bought this game for PS4. Still haven't played it as my Internet has been off at home. Heard good things though.

I love the stand alone games but this game just turned me off. I had the same issue with Fallout 76.
