Do you like your music loud or quite? Do you use your headphones or speakers more?

Has your music ever disturbed anyone before? Have you ever had a music blasting neighbor?

Loud! I mostly use earphones but I do like headphones too.
I am a bit deaf so need it fairly loud.
Have disturbed the neightbour before. I am very conscious of the volume when I use speakers now. Especially in my bedsit as the guy above me can get very funny. Even though he blasts his music/tv out.

Do you like your music loud or quite? Medium. Loud music loses its quality in my opinion.

Do you use your headphones or speakers more? Speakers

Has your music ever disturbed anyone before? No

Have you ever had a music blasting neighbor? Ugh...yes. When I lived in an apartment, the guy across the hall would blast his music so loud at night I couldn't sleep. I tried twice asking him to lower it but to no avail. I called the landlord and he spoke to the guy. That lasted two nights and the music started blasting again. The noise ordinance was no loud/disturbing noise after 10 pm. I finally wound up calling the police. They gave him a warning the first time. The second time they gave him a fine. The third time, the landlord (thank goodness) finally kicked him out.

Do you like your music loud or quite?
- Depends on my mood.

Do you use your headphones or speakers more?
-Mostly speakers

Has your music ever disturbed anyone before?
- Yeah my neighbors
Have you ever had a music blasting neighbor?
- Nope.

I always try to keep my volume level at a reasonable level.
My last neighbor was such a music jerk! He knew we had thin walls and he knew that his music would bother me, but almost every morning I was still waking up to the booming bass from his speakers. I'd have to text him or go over and tell him to turn it down all the time! It got old after the first time. Anyway he moved out and I got new neighbors. Haven't really heard a peep out of them so its a big improvement.

My volume tends to be pretty low. Might turn it up a bit once in a while, but nothing too extreme.
I've never had any complaints about my music being too loud, but I have complained about my brother's music being more than audible through the wall :P

Depends on what I am listening to, where I am, and what's going on.

Once, when working on my old van, I looked up and noticed two local police officers standing behind me.

It seems they had noticed my music, from out in the street, they said they cold hear it over the sound of the air compressor and pneumatic wrench I was using to put the tires back on the van.

You see, my garage had a Kick Ass stereo system in it built out of spare parts. Some of which came from a radio station that I used to work at that had upgraded their 'remote' setup for on location shows and they didn't need that set of Jensen speakers any more, and a wooden subwoofer cabinet with two speakers in it that had Japanese writing on them.

Yeah, it could rock.

I turned it down, a little.

For me it depends, when I'm really focused I like to use head phones.

I rarely blast the music all the way though, probably only time when it's really loud is when I'm showering and want to listen to music.

Depends on the song, if it's 320 kbps-ish I'd prefer use it at normal settings.

I've never seen music rated at kilobytes per second before.

There's a first time for everything! :!:

Pretty sure it's kilobits/second.
I've seen it mentioned a couple times but I can't say I'd really take it into consideration.

I like my music quite loud.

Do you use your headphones or speakers more?

Speakers, annoying my "imma so gangsta" neighbour with heavy metal is just such an added plus. :P

Has your music ever disturbed anyone before?

Yes, when I was still in high school we'd go to the park, blast heavy metal for the whole neighbourhood to hear and smoke pot. Had to go running from the cops more than once.

Have you ever had a music blasting neighbor?

Yes, my new neighbour is awesome that way. Says he listens to gangsta rap but all I can hear are the sissy cries of jason derulo and chris brown.

...we get on really well.

 Thats all I used to hear for months! ...until he moved out!

:thankyou: for leaving old neighbor, you won't be missed.

I just counter it with my music. It's metal so it completely gets rid of those whiny songs.

That's no way to live! :faint:

It's the best excuse to have loud music on too. :P TBH as much as I don't like this guy, I prefer him over some boring old guy who'd call the cops on me.

Assuming only "old people" dislike booming music and vibrating walls at all hours of the day. Things like that can only be tolerated to a point. :P
