The best part is Cornette nearly saying something else before it clicks how brutal of a burn that was. If you're an AEW fan, I wouldn't read the comments from the above link; how many times in one PPV can the phrase "did we just witness an attempted murder?" be used w/out wondering why the cops haven't been called, it was that bad.

I remember that scene and I didn't like it either. But yes, what Jon Moxley did to Bryan Danielson could be considered, depending on the jurisdiction, attempted murder (and if I were an AEW sponsor , I'd've been on the phone to AEW asking what the hell are you thinking of there?)

Look, I want AEW to succeed; never think for a moment I don't want that. And no, I don't follow everything Castle Cornette says; I didn't like his Trevor Murdoch line from 2019 that cost him his job as a commentator with the NWA and I think some of his booking decisions & gimmicks over the years are seriously dated, but the man could teach Baby Khan some lessons on booking if he'd (referring to Khan) stop booking to the sickos.

They can't even sell tickets to their A-show anymore; the go-home Dynamite before All Out didn't even get over 3,000 tickets sold and the place there seats what, 13, 14, 15k? That's not even 20-25% of the full attendance.

She's Snoop Dogg's...something or other, so...yeah...nepotism works. But she had momentum in WWE and is proving why having a little creative control of your own might NOT be the greatest thing if your whole gimmick is "I think I'm special and I named myself after money."
