Fuck fuck fuck.
I doubt Nebby has a censorship![]()
Oh my goodness why would anyone post the word Nancy! How dare they.We just censor the n-word because there is no context in which that would be acceptable. Joking or not. We had a member post it a while back nobody approved.
I agree it's nasty and no forum should ever use it.We just censor the n-word
I've had a bit of fun with them in the past. For example, I set up the word filters to change "wankers" to "Tapatalk".
It took a year and a half before anybody ran into that:

You should've been here a few months ago, Doc.As far as banning the "N" word.
I guess you haven't been to any rap music and urban culture forums and message boards.

Serafin posted a thread with the n-word right in the thread title - he didn't abbreviate it or use any euphemism for it - and spazzed out when I told him (in the thread, not via PM) that I removed the n-word from the thread title. That's the only time I can remember anyone on staff here (at least, since OT returned; I can't speak for the Wober years) has ever censored anything in a thread.
I think he was looking for an excuse to leave, Doc.Such a use was obviously intentional, and he probably got the reaction he was looking for.
I was on a Canadian's forum where the owner changed the word "snow" to marshmallows. That was a word he did not want to hear.

There was also the time when I changed the C-word to "Piers Morgan", which had the following result:

I don't censor because I don't believe in censorship. People should be free to decide for themselves. For those who are offended, I have this advice - Man up and grow a pair.
