Off Topix is a well established general discussion forum that originally opened to the public way back in 2009! We provide a laid back atmosphere and our members are down to earth. We have a ton of content and fresh stuff is constantly being added. We cover all sorts of topics, so there's bound to be something inside to pique your interest. We welcome anyone and everyone to register & become a member of our awesome community.
So much nostalgia there, lol, you're just missing that avatar everyone used to have of the yin-yang sign animated in 3-d where the dots went through the holes...I need to look that up and see if I can find it. It was EVERYWHERE, lol.I have been collecting Gifs and other cool junk from old profiles just for fun:

Yep, absolutely true. We need to preserve sites as much as possible or we're just going to lose everything. The more I dig, the more I realize that the untold tragedy of losing so many sites is that they rob all their members of the chance to go back and see who they were back then... what videogames and TV shows they liked, what music they were into, etc.
And it's so backwards... we were essentially the first generation to have access to "time travel", and yet we destroyed that without a second thought.
It's especially annoying when you realize that there's no real reason not to keep all of that up.Yep, absolutely true. We need to preserve sites as much as possible or we're just going to lose everything.
Yep. There need to be services that archive and protect data when sites are at risk or going under. It costs nothing to archive, we need to make it happen. It's especially annoying when you realize that there's no real reason not to keep all of that up.
