I suppose these days I'd be more offended, given the emphasis on security and privacy, but yeah, back then it was like a challenge for everyone to take sites apart and see if you could do what someone else had done, lol. Fun!

It might be hard to believe, but at one point Terra was THE site to use -- its browser was more popular than Google's (!) and its Fotolog service was much more active than... Fotolog.com's. It's crazy how high its peak was and how fast its downfall occurred. Nowadays people hardly remember they used it.

I remember my friends and classmates bothering me ALL THE TIME on MSN Messenger to check their "Flogs".

SUCH an afterthought that I actually saw it first on a damn Dreamcast! My friend had just gotten the console and was eager to try any fast-loading site he could think of. Yahoo! failed, but Google loaded and we have been using it since.
