Do You Still Wear a Mask?

With Covid becoming more and more an accepted part of our daily lives for the rest of time, and with vaccinations having rolled out on a wide scale by now, are any of you who wore a mask at the start of Covid still wearing one now in any capacity?

I wore mine any time I was in public during the infancy of Covid, and even after getting my vaccines as a lot of places still required a face mask/covering. However, my job doesn't require it now and neither do the majority of public spaces, so I no longer wear a mask in most places. The only time I will wear one anymore is when I'm in a very crowded area, on a flight, or in a location that requires it. Not getting sick in any capacity because of wearing a mask is nice, and being stuck on a plane for hours with a lot of people who can't even do the most basic of hygiene etiquette makes me prefer to keep myself from catching anything so I don't potentially feel like garbage after a flight.

In Florida businesses knew it was a hopeless cause if they wanted you to wear one with people like me defying a idea that masks do anything after 47 studies showing they don’t.

I’ve been chased down in stores by employees but at that time found the ones quickly that would just leave me alone.

I’ve had a lady get in my face screaming at me before I told her if she took another step I’ll lay her on her ass.

I’ve had women take photos of me in the beginning and gave a great pose for them.

I had another lady start cussing me out but kept her distance so I didn’t care.

I just realized it’s always wacky leftist dyed haired women chasing me down 😂😂

What I’ve come to realize with most people who wore their masks don’t want to create waves or standout and wished they could instead of being silent. I didn’t mind it and wasn’t going to be a compliant sheep even if I got arrested. But we didn’t have a lunatic Governor and he respected personal choice so no arrests came.

I remembered another one early on I went to get some of my keto friendly beer in ABC liquor and I’m heading to the back and hear sir! Sir! I’m ignoring it knowing he is yelling at me. Now it had been a long day I was dirty stinky and grumpy. I also carry a pocket knife and a fixed knife on me. When he got to me I was about to grab my beer and he had a disposable mask in his hand saying this is for you. I take a step forward and angrily say I don’t want your mask. He is looking at my waste where my knife is and just says fine, takes a few steps back and walks away fast. It made me laugh inside. Bought my beer and left. Just had it delivered for a months after that when the Governor ended all the mask shit in July of 2020

When this virus started, we were concerned however numbers never added up. "Falsi" (Fauci) changed his mind on a daily basis. While I do believe people have died, many people have died from other causes but you don't see alcohol, opioids being outlawed.
Masks? At the very beginning, yes. After, no. Virologists wear hazmat suits. Flimsy cloths do nothing. Plus think of this, if the virus was really that bad, why did they not have biohazard bins to put the "contaminated" gloves & masks in instead of people littering parking lots with them?

Me neither, I was never really afraid of covid. I ended up getting covid and I was fine.

lol mask doesn't keep people from getting Covid anyway. Not when everyone is cross contaminating. When I was at Wal-Mart I saw a lot of people touching the shelves and touching their mask. Not just that, people were reusing their masks. There's really no point if that's the case.

We still are required to wear a mask to enter any medical facility, and throughout the visit unless otherwise requested. Other than that, not since our 'mandate' has been lifted.
