Do You Think Moderators Should Tell Members (publicly) About User Ban/Warning History

Ah ok.. sorry.. but the telegram chats I linked too are for my devices anyway.. but at any rate many of the devs are primarily on the other sites I mentioned anyway..

I mean I am pretty sure that the other devs probably noped out of their chats because of the immature idiots there anyway..

But yeah a lot of them are on the other sites (sans-Telegram anyway)

But if you do have the same devices I have let me know I could probably google drive it to you..

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Apple doesn’t like custom ROMs. I already installed LawnChairOS to my Kindle Fire.

I think yes for banning known members and members with authentic posts. But for spam account big no because of it will be a burden on moderators.

I WAS on a forum that did this... and it only lead to dogpiling and flamewars.

I do think that the users have a right to know the reasons behind a ban, but not to comment on those.

There's a forum I'm apart of that now tells you who gets banned and why so the team that's left can be transparent with the rest of the site. They won't let you gloat over it though, especially if the person deserved it.

Or do you think it’s only a Moderator’s job to know about warning/ban history?
No.

I feel like infractions and banning are a private matter. I feel like telling everyone can be embarrassing and cause the offender to offend even more.

I've seen some forums that list infractions in public threads. I've even seen some that let members make fun of the offenders. I'm not cool with that, to be honest. It's a bit inhumane.

So, I keep it private. :)
