Ever been in a car accident?

Have you ever been in a car accident? How bad was it? Did anyone get hurt? Was it your fault?

I was actually in a little accident a few months ago with my dad and it was not our fault the guy behind us wasn't paying attention and no one was hurt.

I suppose. Nothing major, just a little bump.

Ive been in a few major ones but never came out seriously injured. The last one I was in was a few years ago in San Francisco. There was a big Alhambra water truck parked in the middle of the street and I went around it into an intersection and got hit by a Mercedes. They hit us in the back part of the car and sent us spinning down the road. We didn't really get hurt though.

Never had an accident but had many near misses. A couple of them would have been fatal too.

A few.

I was the pedestrian in a pedestrian-vs-car accident. Slight concussion, shattered tibia/fibia, and a mess-up in hospital led to blood poisoning.

Motorcycle vs sidewalk, caused by a drunk driver running a red light. I swerved, hit the curb, and dropped like a sack of shit. No real injuries beyond my pride, and a £400 helmet.

A few months ago I was in a friend's car when someone backed into us in a carpark, but that's thankfully my only experience from memory.
