Two forums: the first is in read-only/archive mode, and the second is somewhat active. Managing them is a bit challenging. Therefore, I opt to browse/join forums created by others.

At the moment I currently own two forums, Chat Addicts and Revillution. Two is moe than enough for me at the moment along with the blog I also run as well and other work commitment and family commitments.

As much as I do use forums frequently, I have not owned my own and have not thought about it either. If I was to ever open up my own forum, it would more than likely be a fan forum for a band that I am a huge fan of but at the moment, not something that I am working on or that is set in stone.

I own three forums, however, I am trying to sell one of my forums and only keep two forums for myself. That's because running too many forums when you do not have a lot of money for marketing and cannot devote a lot of time on the forum, your will not grow. There is no point in maintaining a forum that is not growing.

Spammers/Scammers??? Don't even talk about it, I started a war against them and I even made my own browser extension to mitigate somehow the situation.

At the moment, it is one. But I am not giving my best to maintain its activity. I guess I am easily disappointed on how hard it is to have forum in modern era and I simply lose interest. But I never had two forums running. Well, to be fair, I do have one more but it is only for me and my friend and it is idle for months. I don't count it as a running forum.

Oh yeah I forgot about my Facebook group, I have a Facebook group for the Youtuber called This Is Dan Bell. He's even in the group too, I actually made him a moderator. I tried seeing if I could make a forum alongside the group to eventually convert to a forum, but it just didn't work out.

I also tried to pull my members to the forum, but it was mission impossible. I didn't have more value at the forum than what they got at the group. Next time I will change strategy and offer more value.

Heck I even get indecisive on where to post when managing multiple forums let alone owning them 😂

I manage one and own another, and I have to flip a coin to decide which forum I’ll be posting on 🙈

Like, I know sometimes I want to post to my own forum, but (currently I barely have any audience), so I choose to post on other, more populated forums, instead of my own, which kinda defeats the purpose of running your own forum, doesn't it?

Every community has a different vibe, different atmosphere, slightly different application of rules as to what’s acceptable and not. This applies not least to how far you can go with banter. It’s great to meet ppl from all walks of life while we naturally feel closer and more connected to like-minded ppl
