Opinion of Obama

I really think his promise are just big talk. Why do he put them into practice and bear some fruit? yea

Saying that he never promised anything

I only said that in regard to what Joshua confronted me with. Which was basically an onslaught of youtube videos gathered by typing in Obama lies

right just now you finally admit you were wrong by saying Mr. Obama did break promises

I never said he hasn't broken promises. Did you read the part where I was debating with Joshua? I was talking specifically about the point that he made and about the speech he used to accuse Obama of lying.

my first point was how Mr. Obama is a promise breaker

This is a null point because it is impossible to be in U.S. politics and not be such.

Because I don't like when people lie to me and make promises to get elected

Well unfortunately for you that's what happens every single election. If the president elect got everything he wanted, this wouldn't be a democracy.

Yes I would, but doing so with out making promises I know I couldn't keep...

Like Mr. Obama did...

Obama isn't some kind of unstoppable power that can do whatever he wants without no one stopping him. You have to remember that the Senate also has a say in what he tries to do, and not necessarily everything that he wants done will get done. All candidates promise alot of things, that may seem possible at first, but end up being shot down. That's how it's always been; don't act like Obama is the first to break promises.

There's always Congress to cuss... and Mr. Obama signed it, so we can cuss him too.

Democrats, Advocacy Groups Blast Cuts to Food Stamps to Fund $26B Aid Bill

Some Democrats are upset and advocacy groups are outraged over the raiding of the food-stamp cupboard to fund a state-aid bailout that some call a gift to teachers and government union workers.

House members convened Tuesday and passed the multibillion-dollar bailout bill for cash-strapped states that provides $10 billion to school districts to rehire laid-off teachers or ensure that more teachers won't be let go before the new school year begins, keeping more than 160,000 teachers on the job, the Obama administration says.

But the bill also requires that $12 billion be stripped from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, commonly known as food stamps, to help fund the new bill, prompting some Democrats to cringe at the notion of cutting back on one necessity to pay for another. The federal assistance program currently helps 41 million Americans.

But of course it's from Fox and we all know they're just a bunch of haters.

What is your point? Pass it or not its bad news. Either teachers go unemployed, or people have to buy cheap food.

That I believe having a shitty economy sucks?

I'm a seventeen year old dude, I've never been on food stamps, I don't have anywhere near the depth of knowledge to have formulated an insightful opinion on this issue that you have brought forward.

Why are you accusing me of things I have never suggested? The long term solution to illegal immigration that is most cost-effective is helping Mexico get their economy up and running.

Of course I'm more concerned with domestic issues... And whoever said I wanted to keep illegals here? Not I.

Ok.

Having a force large enough to cover the entire border may provide jobs, but its also costly.

I wasn't trying to say we should do it right now. And when we do I would be in favor of giving incentives for businesses to set up manufacturing in Mexico. But that is the long term permanent solution, there are many things that we can do (that Obama IS doing) that will curb the flow of illegals into this country.

Very few committed Christians help build mosques at ground zero. If he was truly a committed Christian, he would realize by supporting this mosque, this religion, he's supporting sending them to hell if that's the true religion he is committed to.

Haha, I wish I didn't have to respond to this but I do.

Actually the mosque is two blocks away from ground zero. By allowing it to be built he is not supporting Islam, merely supporting the freedom of religion that we have always had here in the United States.

I sure hope he isn't Christian, and I believe he is too smart to be religious. Personally I believe he is a closet atheist, and portrays himself as a Christian in order to make being a politician a possibility.

then how can you help Muslims build a mosque to practice Islam? No argument here.

Its simple really, he's not helping them, he's allowing them to build it there, supporting the freedom of religion. There's no reason they shouldn't be able to build a mosque there, other than the fact that religion is inherently bad.

If you're Christian, you know this is a false religion and no one who practices it will recieve salvation, so how do you explain yourself?

You see I've never understood this. I see being atheist as being religious except believing in one less stupid ridiculous God.

where Islamic extremists killed thousands of Americans (targeting Christians)

Shit man, they hate all infidel, they don't care if you are Christian, Jewish, or Atheist, the Jihad are nuts.

Read above. Should answer it for you, but I will expand. Not only has Islam been known to plant mosques at their victory sites, it's happening today, right in front of us. Ground zero is not the place for a mosque, and if you're too arrogant to figure out why they want a mosque there so bad, then use your brain. Obama made it clear that he wants a mosque at ground zero, a building for Islamic worship, including and/or excluding extremists. Argue all you want that they're not extremists or have some motive in mind, and that it's all innocent, but when/if another attack occurs, will you let them build a mosque there, too? I find it rather suspicious how Islam has been known to build mosques at their victory sites, yet, our own President doesn't realize that we were attacked by Islamic extremists a few years ago, and now all of a sudden, a mosque is being built. Do the math, it's not calculus, it's 1st grade addition and subtraction. Common sense rarely fails, and this is more than common sense, because it's known, factual information.

The funny thing is, there is no reason against building it in all of that. XD

Joshua, come on man. Seriously, think for a second about the shit that you're saying.

Anyway, I think eventually religion will finally be put away for good, it has outlived its purpose.

Debating with you is pointless, because you deny the evidence if it's not supporting your debate. Obama claims he's a committed Christian on his own, personal website, and that is a lie. Why? A true, committed Christian would never state that another religion, especially Islam, is a great religion, because if you're Christian, you believe all others are false gods, false religions, and they'll never receive salvation. He's supporting a religion that will send thousands to hell for eternity. Now, that's all hypothetically speaking, because Obama isn't a Christian, if he believes Islam is a great religion.

I sure hope he isn't Christian, and I believe he is too smart to be religious. Personally I believe he is a closet atheist, and portrays himself as a Christian in order to make being a politician a possibility.

Again, he said he is a committed Christian on his own website in his own words. There's no such thing as portraying yourself as a Christian in order to make being a politician possible, it's called lying about your religious beliefs, in order to make your campaign look better. He didn't stretch the truth, he didn't portray himself as a Christian, he lied about his religion.

Bottom line, Obama is trying to be everyone's friend, even if he has to lie about it. He is a committed Christian one moment, then he is supporting a mosque and calling Islam a great religion. No one said he was a committed Christian, no one said he had to be, Obama said he was a committed Christian. How far do you have to stretch the truth before you admit you're a lie? It's either the truth, or it's a lie. No such thing as being half honest, because honesty is a trait, which is contrary to telling a lie. Obama could of said he was Christian, even though it's still a lie, but to go as far as to say you're a committed Christian to appeal to Christians to get their Christian vote is pathetic. Now that it's over, he wants to support building a mosque, and said so himself, that Islam is a great religion. Now who's vote is he trying to appeal to? The Muslim-American vote. He said his campaigning is over, yet he has been doing it since he's been in office.

Over half the country said in a poll that they wouldn't vote for an atheist presidential candidate. That's why he would lie to make his presidency possible.

First of all I would like to say that I'd like to see where he says Islam is a great religion (even though I believe there is no such thing as a great religion).

Second of all, I never said he didn't lie about his true religious beliefs, I said I hope that he is lying and is atheist.

Thirdly, there's no reason a mosque should be prevented from being built there.

And lastly, don't just say debating with me is pointless. Its bullshit. There is absolutely no evidence that I denied in my last post. You saying so is lying.

A great religion?
dry.gif
Now, I'm not debating religion, I'm debating what Obama said about Islam, and comparing it to the United States founding rights.

Our Declaration of Independence states the following:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal...

Obama supports this religion, and calls it great, but here's a known fact about their faith:

* Muhammad commands Muslim men to beat their wives if they don't obey them.

How can Obama call that a great religion in accordance to our Declaration of Independence? I hope he doesn't beat the First Lady.
