Should all crimes be equally punishable?

Types of crimes should be equally punishable. There is no justification for stealing a car, breaking into someone's house or robbery so they could be equally punishable. To me murder shouldn't be equally punishable due to the circumstances that could be associated with the crime.

We should consider factors like cognitive conditions and mental health to see what best works for the individual to prevent them re-offending, in an ideal world, but difficult to achieve.
