Tbh I think something like math is or foreign languages is fine, because it’s one of those things where practice makes you better at it. Despite being a person that loves history, homework for that is useless. Which is why I was glad those classes I took in college didn’t have homework assignments.

I am against giving homework to kids. Kids spend 6-7 hours in school, why should they spend 1-2 hours more doing homework. What will kids learn doing homework that they have not learned at school? Kids need time for afterschool activities.
I think a moderate amount of homework is okay. This is to ensure the students can review what they have learned in classes. But I am against giving too much homework to students. They need free time to play and relax after school.
Home work in moderation I think is good. It keeps the child's mind in focus
