- They bombed pipelines of gas carried from Egypt to Israel.

French President Hollande, who hosted the summit, said regional powers had pledged to share intelligence and co-ordinate action against the group.

Boko Haram Gunmen Kill Chinese Worker, Soldier in Cameroon

YAOUNDE, CAMEROON — The Nigerian Islamist sect Boko Haram has attacked Waza, in Cameroon's Far North Region, kidnapping 10 Chinese engineers and killing one Cameroonian soldier. The French news agency AFP reported that a Chinese worker was also killed by the gunmen.

The attack came shortly before the start of Saturday's summit talks on Boko Haram in Paris, where five heads of state are meeting to map out strategies to fight the militant group.

According to reports, an estimated 200 Boko Haram members attacked the Cameroonian locality of Waza, located only 15 kilometers from Nigeria's Borno State, the base of the violent Islamist group. Djibrilla Toukour, a Waza resident, told VOA that men arrived in a convoy of about 15 vehicles around midnight.

U.S.: Jihadi featured in suicide bombing video in Syria grew up in Florida

May 30, 2014

Washington (CNN) -- The truck was loaded with munitions, then driven up a hillside in northern Syria. Moments later, there was a massive blast followed by cries of "Allahu Akbar," or "God is great" in Arabic, and the rattling of gunfire.

The suicide attacker in the bombing depicted in this online video was an American jihadi, radical Islamists claiming responsibility for the blast have said.

Late Thursday, two U.S. officials confirmed their boast.

The man called by the nom de guerre Abu Hurayra Al-Amriki was a U.S. citizen, who grew up in Florida and went to school there.

Neither official would disclose the bomber's real name. Investigators are interviewing family members.

Al-Amriki is among a group of Americans whom intelligence agents have been trying to keep tabs on since they went to Syria some months ago to join extremists in the fight against the Syrian government.

Fought in the Somali Civil war from 2006 until his death in 2013, Abu Mansoor Al-Amriki was widely considered as an American-born Muslim terrorist.

Ten months prior to his death, he was wanted by the FBI as the most wanted terrorist. Ironically, Al-Amriki's father, Shafik Hammami was born in Syria and moved to Alabama to become a civil engineer. Abu was born a Southern Baptist, but converted to Islam at home.

How did he got killed in 2013? He was ambushed in the early morning of September 12th, where the militants of Al-Shabaab killed Al-Amriki in Dinsoor, southwest of Mogadishu. Officials of the Barack Obama administration in the embassy of Nairobi, Kenya investigated his death, and it was removed from the terrorist list of the FBI in November 2013.

No matter what the religion be their tenet is always the same - Peace, Love & Tranquility, yet has their ever been a time when these religions would violently impose their interpretations upon others in the name of some imaginary 'Friend'. It's not even just a case of one religion against another. It's sects of one religion within itself, such as Catholic vs Protestant, Sunni vs Shia, etc.

Yes, Muslims ARE terrorists, but so are Christians. So are Jews. So are the whole flippin' lot of them. Theory is one thing. Practice is quite another thing.
