We Muslims ain't terrorists.

This thread just once again underlines that Most people do Not do their homework to understand other cultures, religions, traditions, whatever.

They see (polite word here) Stuff (end polite word) in the media, usually "stuff" that has been aired with a given spin or political agenda or even with the intent of intentionally misleading the public, and they believe it.

For instance. Islam is not about "peace and love". The phrase "God is Love" does not occur in the Holy Qur'an. The word "Islam" means "Obey" in Arabic. And that is the crux of the entire religion.

You may search it at your leisure here: http://quran.com/

Which, I guess, is why Nebulous keeps me around.

I DO my homework, so you don't have to.

And then the Taliban try something like this:

Well-trained and armed, Taliban tried to hijack plane in Pakistan
9 June

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Their backpacks stuffed with food and ammunition, a squad of highly trained Taliban fighters attacked Pakistan's biggest airport in what they clearly expected to be a protracted siege.

Seven fighters were shot dead by Pakistani forces after five hours of intense gunfire at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport. Three died after detonating their suicide-bomb vests.

The Pakistani Taliban said they carried out the attack in response to air strikes in their strongholds near the Afghan border and suggested their mission was to hijack a passenger plane.

"The main goal of this attack was to damage the government, including by hijacking planes and destroying state installations," said Shahidullah Shahid, a Taliban spokesman.

People tend to blame Muslims for any acts of terror. There is a reason they do.

I would never want to live in a ME country. If I had to choose any country in the world to live in I'd choose the country that I was born in, the USA. While there many countries I'd like to visit the ME is not on my list.

And also it's the CIA and the USA that have been going into countries and assassinating leaders and who ever for the USA's agenda's and beliefs... sounds like terrorism don't it?

Oh?

You will, of course, cite recent third party evidence in support of this claim.

Meanwhile:

10 June

Suspected Boko Haram militants have abducted at least 20 women close to where 200 schoolgirls were kidnapped in northern Nigeria, eyewitnesses say.

The women were loaded on to vans at gunpoint and driven away to an unknown location in Borno state, they add.

@doc... don't act like the CIA are so innocent just because they are better at keeping things hush hush than "militants" that don't care if people know what they do...

Hang on while I look back through my statements for when I claimed the CIA was innocent.

However, you said

it's the CIA and the USA that have been going into countries and assassinating leaders and who ever for the USA's agenda'

Usually the sudden death of a foreign head of state Does make the news on services like the BBC and Sky, especially if it is something other than 'natural causes'.

Stories like that should be rather easy to come by.

No one ever talks about well trained and armed cia and military from the usa killing people from other countries but everyone else are the terrorist...

Not everyone are terrorist but Muslims by far the leaders in that category.

God knows America is not perfect. And right now America disgusts me with it leftist leaders in charge so much I would love to see independence for the states. But overall the CIA and our military have done far more good for this planet on stopping world domination From the Nazis to the USSR and who knows what threats we dont even know about. The comparison is not even remotely close.

@smooth, don't muzzies and any country's military kill? That makes them classed as murderers just like everyday killers, gangs, biker "clubs", etc...

You just don't get my point... I'm not bashing the USA's military, as they don't pick and choose the battles and war, the country's leaders do...

Anyone or any country can be seen as "terrorists" in someone's eyes and who are you to tell them that they're wrong? That's another issue that Americans have, the fact that they can't view things in other people's perspectives and think that everyone else is wrong... closed minded because you don't give two shits about other countries people's views and opinions...

We dont give two shits about other countries?

And yet every time there is a crisis on this planet since WW1 everybody looks to us and we always help from troops to natural disasters. We give more to help out other countries every year then the world combined. Let alone private citizens opening up there wallets with millions also to help.

Maybe we dont listen to other countries perspectives because they have not earned the right to be listened to with there own blood and treasure to help the world like we have. Until then those countries can kiss my butt.

So, our version of helping a country is to bomb the shit out of them and murder innocent woman and children? Sounds good...

So you are saying we should have never entered WW2? Because thats exactly what we did.

Because you cant be talking about todays wars where we hardly just carpet bomb the shit out of people. Its very carefully planned to not hurt innocent lives.

If I recall correctly, the US were imposing trade sanctions on Japan, and the attack on Pearl Harbour was a last-ditch attempt to get out of it. So one could say that America provoked the attack.

We decided to stop selling our oil to Japan because they were invading countries. I would not call that provoking a attack.

Also, if it wasn't for 'state sponsored terrorism', would there be any terrorism at all?

This fool knows when a discussion has gone completely around the bend and it is time to walk away.
