Would you trust your partner to have a joint account?

Relationships nowadays involves two people that are looking for how to rip the other person off. However, I still think that there are partners that believe in unity and can have one account for both partners. Do you consider that an option?

For me, It's about respect. I think I should keep my money in my bank account and my girlfriend keeps her money in her bank account. Everyone wins. If the other one is having troubles, I think it's reasonable to help them out. Seeing as we're both divorce, In our previous marriages her ex husband took all of her money and my ex wife took all of my money. So we both had bad partners that left us penniless.

If we were married, yes, that's pretty normal to be honest. Just dating? Not so much...... It would honestly depend on the situation I think.
