What do you think is acceptable behavior in debate forums? When is someone taking it too far and crossing the line?

Same as in real debates, personal attacks, other than that, it's fine in my books.

Flaming, name calling, changing the subject, irrelevant emotional statements, raising past arguments that have already been disproved......



At least that's what it was like... well... elsewhere.



Oh, what do I think is acceptable? Being rational and bringing forth substantiation to support your reasoning.

I think it gets too far when people start personally attacking each other and don't debate about the topic in hand anymore.
