Well I though the forum needed one of these, just post the recent scores on the games you have watched and discuss

First match I watched was Africa vs Mexico, it was the first game of the world cup tournament in South Africa and I can say it was a pretty good and close match to watch. Tshabalala was the first to score for Africa team in the match, he thumped it past the keeper at around 55 minutes, what a goal it was but it was short lived as Marquez scored from an easy stabbed tap in shot. Africa nearly scored the winning goal in the 90th minute but it hit the post, sad times The final score was 1-1.

Its not really that big around these parts. Not like the super bowl.

It's an African horn called a vuvuzela and must be the most annoying thing ever invented.

I hate it with a passion and for me it will simply ruin the world cup.

Looks like I'm going to have the watch the games with the sound turned off grrrr.

The big game today England vs USA

I think we should make a deal. If England wins we get America's president and you all admit that our football is the real football. If USA win, you can have the Queen. Either way, we win XD

If USA wins, you call it soccer just like almost every other english speaking country in the world.

New Zealand doesn't call it soccer, I've been there, a lot of people call it football but yes, some do call it soccer.

And Ireland, Scotland & Wales are English speaking countries and they call it football. So it's just America, Australia & New Zealand to a certain degree.

I have the end of a match on at the mo and I agree about the horn, very very annoying!

It sounds like a swarm of bees!

I'm not a football fan so I wont be watching many matches thankfully!

Yeah but all of those USA people also spell colour, favourite, centre and many other words incorrectly.

Besides, we made it, we get to name it!
